During the production of the ecological urns, not a single tree is cut down. The bio-paper is made from the bark of the Mulberry tree. This bark is peeled from the tree, after which new bark grows back. A sustainable production process, as it is a fast-growing and renewable resource. The tree bark is then boiled in large kettles into a paper pulp mixture, to which Ixora flowers are added. Next, the pulp is applied by hand onto so-called moulding frames. Finally, the paper sheets are placed in the sun to dry before being processed into a memorial product.
 
This small scattering urn is decorated with flowers from the Ixora plant, resulting in a floral pattern. This gives the scattering urn a soft appearance. The urn can be buried, placed indoors, or used as a scattering container thanks to its practical scattering function. This urn is an environmentally friendly choice with many possibilities. The biodegradable scattering urn is also available in two larger sizes (M and L).
